Sometimes you just need to get out of your head for awhile.

Saw Lisa Loeb at Cafe du Nord tonight. It was a good show; she's a great performer.

Photos from Dinner & a Movie night. Alice did Babette's Feast this year. What a delicious 5 course French meal! Despite our pleas, she is not considering either Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory or Chocolat for next years' film. This is a shame.

What an exhausting day! At least I won both games at game night. I finally put up the photos from our corn maze and pumpkin excursion. There are a few super nice ones of Daryl & Alice.

November! Mailman and rent day. It's the day before Voting Day, and I still need to figure out what to vote for or against. With so much attention on the presidential race, I've heard almost nothing about the state and local initiatives. At least voting for my supervisor isn't anything I need to study! Go Tom Go!

On Saturday a bunch of us went down to Pescadero for food and fun, corn maze and pumpkin hunting. I took photos, as usual, and will have them up tomorrow or so. It was great to see Mo, as always, as well as the rest of the gang. I didn't carve a pumpkin this year, and it was just as well, I hate having them rot on my front porch.

Yesterday I made the mistake of returning to my neighborhood at 7 pm, after my yoga class. There were swarms of kids and teenagers and parents all in costume, all over the streets and sidewalks. Of course, there was no place to park, and I had to drive around, trying not to hit little goblins and such for about 20 minutes before I found a parking space blocks and blocks away. Bleh!
